Degraded MySQL performance for some Apps in US
There has been an issue with one of our MySQL gears, causing slow return of MySQL queries. Approximately 100 apps have been affected, experiencing slow websites or receiving a 504 (timeout) error during this time frame.
Our internal investigation did not uncover any specific cause for the issue. The hardware was under heavy load, but we were unable to identify any particular usage pattern that could have triggered the problem so far. We will keep monitoring the situation. We don't see any relation to the currently ongoing maintenance so far.
This incident has been backfilled.
