The maintenance is now complete. Thanks for your patience.
We have completed the migration of Universal Apps now and will proceed with Professional Apps now.
We are making good progress. Currently we are updating Universal Apps. We will need to extend the time frame until end of the month.
Deployment is back for a while right now. We are looking into issues with Git deployment for newly created Apps.
We are going to update the deploy service today. That will disable SSH and Git connections for a couple of hours starting soon.
The scheduled maintenance is now underway. We'll keep you updated on our progress.
For the first week (W39, starting at Wed 27th of Sep) we plan to start with internal services that are not affecting App uptime.
We are going to run a maintenance sprint, roughly over the next 4 weeks. Within that time frame we will deploy important internal software updates hardening stability and security. It's the same update we have been doing in EU recently. See our blog post on client facing version changes.
We need to take each App hosted in US down for a little while. Some Apps might be down multiple times. We aim for less than 5 minutes individual downtime, but in certain cases it can take several hours until an App or certain services will become available again.
Sorry, we can not say when which App will be taken down when, upfront. The maintenance will be carried out in the low traffic hours starting at 09:00 CEST (07:00 UTC, 00:00 PDT).
