Following recent maintenance we faced Memcache issues for a small number of Pro Apps in EU and one in US. The issues may have started to appear after the maintenance windows on Monday earlier this week for customers.
With the maintenance a wrong network configuration was applied. We believe, that for correctly configured Memcache production plans the issue was not visible, since only one out of multiple Memcache Nodes was affected. As a reminder: If your plan includes multiple Memcache Nodes, make sure to configure your code to make use of both.
The possible network issue was actually a known issue, but was not well enough documented (tacit knowledge). We are now updating our internal procedures reflecting required steps.
